Ruzz Guitar

Artist Bio

Born and bred in Bristol UK, Ruzz is a powerful, soul-injected, Blues/R&B/Rock ‘n’ Roll Gretsch-wielding guitarist. While taking audiences by storm with his band Ruzz Guitar’s Blues Revue, Ruzz credits inspiration from guitar greats Wilko Johnson, Brian Setzer, Jim Heath, and Jimmie Vaughan.

Only 6 months after picking up his first guitar, Ruzz was already making a name for himself while performing with local bands and jamming around his home town. Recognized by his peers, it didn’t take long for Ruzz to assemble his own band to showcase his guitar prowess and songwriting talents. Bring together the Big Band Swing of The Brian Setzer Orchestra, blend it with the Texas Blues of Jimmie Vaughan and throw in a few other influences from artists such as B.B.King, Ray Charles and you’ll get an idea of the sound that Ruzz Guitar puts out!

Since the inception of Ruzz’s solo career, he has headlined and shared the stage with numerous A-list touring acts while traveling through the UK, Europe and North America including Andy Fairweather Low, Dr Feelgood, Innes Sibun (Robert Plant/The Innes Sibun Blues Explosion), Jon Amor (The Hoax), Pete Gage (Dr Feelgood), Kirk Fletcher (The Fabulous Thunderbirds/Joe Bonamassa/Solo), The BlockHeads (Ian Dury & The Blockheads), Bill Kirchen, Darrel Higham (Imelda May/Jeff Beck/Solo), Kid Ramos (James Harman/The Fabulous Thunderbirds), and Junior Watson.

Ruzz has released numerous albums to date and has extensive US and Canadian tours planned for the future.  Be sure to check out Ruzz’s official website for regular tour updates.
