Gino Meregillano

Artist Bio

Gino Meregillano is a Southern California-based guitarist with 30+ years under his belt performing, touring, and recording. When he’s not on stage fronting his band, “Gino and The Lone Gunmen,” Meregillano is a go-to hired gun if anyone needs guitar, bass, mandolin, ukulele, or additional vocals. His vocabulary of licks stretches across blues, rock, surf, jazz, country, and rockabilly. And if that wasn’t enough, he keeps a busy schedule teaching music.

With his professional endorsement by Gretsch Guitars, Gino is no stranger to the Rockabilly/Psychobilly scene. He’s performed with many top acts such as the Guana Batz, Hancox, Levi Dexter, Rip Masters, Ray Campi, The Rocketz, Cash In Hand (Johnny Cash tribute), and Jerry Lee Lewis tribute, “Dave Bennett and the Memphis Speed Kings.”

The Lone Gunmen’s first self-produced CD (featuring Gino on guitar and lead vocals) was released in early 2010. Other recordings include their follow-up titled Idle Hands released in 2014 on Heyday Records. If you’re so inclined, check out The Lone Gunmen on the Bear Family Records Anniversary box-set as well as the Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekend compilations Vol. 15 and Vol. 18.
