_______________

A legend in the music world and currently on tour with P!NK, Mark Schulman is an incredible musician, dynamic performer, and a strategic business mind who has parleyed his success on stage into true business success.

Born and raised in L.A., Mark Schulman became interested in pursuing music as a mere toddler. At age 3, he witnessed the phenomenon of Beatlemania: “…I remember seeing a repeat of The Beatles on the Ed Sullivan show with my brother and my folks. I saw Ringo playing the drums and something resonated so deeply with me. Then I saw all the screaming girls, and at that moment, I thought to myself, ‘I want THAT!’”

Mark has enjoyed an unprecedented career over the last 26+ years as a first-call drummer for world-class rock and pop artists such as P!NK, Billy Idol, Cher, Foreigner, Velvet Revolver, Sheryl Crow, Stevie Nicks, Richard Marx, Frank Gambale, Ekichi Yazawa, Udo Lindenberg, Dave Koz, Tina Turner, The O’Jays, Amy Grant, and the list goes on. He was voted “Top 3 Pop-Rock Drummers” in the 2014 Modern Drummer Reader’s Poll. He’s completed three record breaking world tours with P!NK (featured in that new DVD, “The Truth About Love” tour as well as DVDs from her “I’m Not Dead” and “Funhouse” tours.)  Mark joined CHER for her “Dressed To Kill” World Tour in 2014.

Mark is the first “clinician” to use interactive video combining wicked drumming performances with strategic motivational techniques and success coaching to provide an unprecedented “one-man show” presentation. He has preformed his interactive master drumming presentations on every continent to countless drummers and musicians of all levels. Mark actually began his professional speaking career with his first drum clinic at a music school in Seattle in 1991.

Mark has written and produced 25 years of music for artists, TV, film, radio, and multimedia. His style, creativity, and professionalism have earned him a reputation as a well-respected collaborator in the professional music scene.

Special note: In 2018, Lucas von Gretsch conducted an in-depth, two-part interview with Mark. Make sure to go back and read Part 1 and Part 2 now!
