South Carolina Honors Todd Taylor

Gretsch-endorsed artist since 2012 and Guinness World Record holder for Fastest Banjo, Spartanburg native Todd “Banjoman” Taylor played his Gretsch banjo at a special performance for Governor Henry McMaster at South Carolina’s State Capitol on Tuesday, March 12, the first anniversary of “South Carolina Banjo Day.”

Taylor was first honored by the state of South Carolina on March 14, 2018 for the positive impact he and his music has made on the state, and will be so honored on the 2nd Tuesday in the month of March each year.
