The Gretsch Company announced earlier this year the addition of Billy Zoom, of the band X, to their distinguished list of Guitar endorsers. "It seemed only natural for us to consider Billy Zoom for a Gretsch endorsement" says Mrs. Dinah Gretsch, Executive Vice President of The Gretsch Company. "Billy has had a long and successful history with his Gretsch Silver Jet."

Zoom is looking forward to the relationship with Gretsch, in a recent interview he states, "I think getting a Gretsch endorsement is the biggest kick I ever got out of playing music."

After a three month United States major market tour with the reunited X, Billy Zoom has just returned from a Seattle studio session with producer Tom Werman on Supersuckers upcoming Interscope spring release. During which time Zoom also produced two tracks himself for the upcoming X- tribute album. In both occasions Zoom uses none other then his famous Gretsch Silver Jet.

Billy will be recording on Mike Ness' solo album in November 1998. The band X is busy making arrangements for the upcoming 1999 summer tour.
