WINTER NAMM SHOW - ANAHEIM 2002
January 2002
Story by UEC

GRETSCH GUITARS

New at this show, the 6119-62HT Tennessee Rose was being closely eyed by Gretsch fanatics for accuracy to detail. This guitar is a faithful re-creation of the early sixties Electrotone hollow-body guitar with a single cutaway body and vintage style HiLo'Tron pickups. And it looked like no one could put down the new 6120N Nashville that was played non-stop through-out the show. It was hard to miss this striking instrument staring you in the face as you entered the guitar room with it's beautiful, arched top body finished in that piercing, classic "Gretsch" orange.

Other new instruments introduced at the show include; the Synchromatic G1255 Baritone Six-String Bass a six string baritone bass with the new Licensed Bigsby bass vibrato, the G1566 Double-Neck Six-String Bass/Guitar with the new Licensed Bigsby bass vibrato on the upper neck, and a standard 6-string guitar with a Bigsby B-vibrato on the lower neck, and the G1570 Green Elliot Easton model guitar in metallic green finish over a mahogany arched top body accented by gold-plated hardware.
